CLASSES
Adult Classes
Classes meet once per week:
Tuesday 10:30-1 & 5:30-8
Wednesday 5:30-8
Thursdays 10-12:30 & 5:30-8
Saturdays 10-12:30
Six week sessions are $350.This includes free open studio time on the weekends and during the week. We are closed Mondays.
If you can not attend your scheduled class, you are welcome to join another. Class session now have a start and end date. You may start your session with a private lesson to assure you get 100% attention to start. Just ask us!
Classes are student centered, meaning that you tell us what you’d like to lean; hand building or wheel. Classes are small and a lot of individual attention is given. Projects and assignments by teachers are suggested but there is no obligation to follow. You are welcome to bring your own inspiration. Sketchbooks and note taking is encouraged.
Kids Classes
Kids classes meet Satudays from 3-5pm. All firing fees are included.
kids can experiment on the wheel, get a full lesson on hanbuild, using coil, slab or pinch methods.
Drop in at $50/child. Please call first if you can. Thanks!
The last Saturday of every month there will NOT be a class.
1/2 class is an option at $30/child. 1hr.
Once kids have gotten a feel for the studio and some experience, they can attend a scheduled Guided Open Studio with me during the week at $20/hr.
Private Lessons
Wheel: A 1.5 hr lesson for $85 for one person, $135 for two and $155 for three. Firing fees are six cents per cubic inch. A follow up Trimming or glazing lesson is optional for $15. We can glaze your piece for you at $3 per piece.
Handbuilding: A 1.5 hr lesson with handbuilding is $85 for one person, $135 for two people plus firing and/or glazing fees.
Finished pieces can be mailed to you for an additional fee.
Parties of 4 or more can get a “party rate” at $55/person which includes 2hr lesson, one piece on the wheel, firing and glazing (you choose your color). Extra pieces are calculated with a .06 cents per cubic inch firing fee and glazing fee if $3 per color/piece. Shipping is also extra.

Summer Clay Camp 2024!!

Camp is 9:30-12:30 $400/week. Ages 7-12. Kids explore pinch, coil, slab and wheel with a variety of imaginative and functional projects. Creative exploration is always encouraged and welcome!
A small group size ensures lots of personal attention. Student teacher ratio 3:1.
Snack is not included. Please bring your own. Camp will be a combination of outside and inside as the wheels are inside. Call for more details. $50 non-refundable deposit. Venmo: @judi-esmondmartin
